• Talquistin is a medicine primarily composed of calamine, an ingredient exclusively used for topical treatment, commonly utilized to alleviate itching, pain, and discomfort due to minor skin irritations. This component possesses astringent, antiseptic, and protective properties, absorbs moisture and excretions, while simultaneously softening the skin. Talquistin contains 10g of calamine per 100g of the product, along with white paraffin, lanolin, talc, and lavender essence. It provides an anti-itching effect, which is used in treatments to suppress itching associated with burns, allergic reactions, eczema, psoriasis, chickenpox, fungal infections, insect bites such as mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks, contact dermatitis, and urticaria caused by plants, such as poison ivy or nettles.
