• The year 2021 marked the 1600th anniversary of Venice, Italy’s most romantic city, as well as the launch of the unique fragrance Rubeus Milano Evonimo. These two events are closely connected. In honor of the beloved city’s anniversary, the Italian perfume house introduced a new collection of four fragrances, with Rubeus Milano Evonimo being the most striking among them.

  This fragrance is dedicated to the spindle tree, a beautiful plant with reddish leaves, akin to the color of the bottle. However, from the very first encounter, a certain dissonance arises, as the scent feels not red, not warm, but green. The top notes of galbanum, tangy blackcurrant, and fresh mandarin energetically open the fragrance. Subsequently, chypre-fougere motifs emerge, followed by woody-aldehydic ones.

  Indeed, the perfume is so whimsical and ever-changing that each stage of its unveiling surprises. In the heart notes, wood dominates, harmoniously complemented by elegant jasmine and sweet-toned tonka beans. In the very end, like a sparkling gem, Madagascan vanilla appears surrounded by warm amber.
